Cutimed® Sorbion® Sachet S Drainage

is a sterile, hydroactive, gel-forming superabsorbent wound dressing. The specific shape, is developed for use with catheters, drainages, etc. The dressing consists of a superabsorbent core and a hypoallergenic polypropylene outer layer. Both sides of the dressing can be applied to the wound.

Intended Purpose

Cutimed Sorbion Sachet S Drainage is intended for the treatment of wounds with moderate to excessive exudate levels, such as pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers and other wounds healing through secondary intention, oozing laparotomy wounds, fistulas to the skin, exulcerating carcinomas, postoperative wound dehiscence, and similar exuding wounds. Cutimed Sorbion Sachet S Drainage, due to its specific shape, was developed for use with catheters, drainages, etc.

Wear time: Cutimed Sorbion Sachet S Drainage can remain in place for up to 7 days, depending on wound conditions and saturation of wound dressing.

How to use

1. When taking Cutimed Sorbion Sachet S Drainage out of the pouch, do not touch the wound pad.
2. Secure the dressing after selecting an appropriate fixation for the condition of the wound surroundings and the skin. While fixating the dressing, take expansion during absorption into consideration.
How to remove
3. To remove Cutimed Sorbion Sachet S Drainage remove fixation tapes, lift one corner of Cutimed Sorbion Sachet, gently remove the dressing and discard. Adherence of wound deposits to Cutimed Sorbion Sachet S Drainage is a desirable effect, contributing to wound cleansing (soft debridement).
